The 48 hour cooling off period had started and the purchaser wanted to be sure it was up to expectations.

What we found

The house was badly affected by termites that a full invasive inspection was called required.  The vendor refused an invasive inspection.

What we suggested

Runaway that is a warning sign that the property has underlying issues.  To make it worse to replace the retaining wall the garage needed removal and the exterior had composite imitation brick which is a known to contain asbestos.  All up a very expensive repair was required.

The Outcome

Client used the cooling off provision to cool off and look for other properties.
